Creating A Peaceful Earth ... Breathe

Create Outward Peace?  Posses Inner Peace

In order to create outward peace one must posses inner peace.  This article will help you create inner peace.  Inner peace is important for you to stay on track with your life without all of the stress.  It helps you realize that the issues and situations that are experienced on a daily basis can be tackled in a peaceful none stressful way.  Your mind and body must be at peace in order to connect to the universal energy that allows for a calm and collective existence here on earth.  Ultimately peace allows a more fulfilled life and a more compassionate understanding of individuals, animals and the earth.

The Search For Inner Peace

When we search for inner peace we must quiet the chatter and clutter in our minds to realize our true nature.  Once in the place of peace we are introduced to our true nature of being wise, joyful, and vibrantly alive.  We become more in tune with our spiritual beginnings and realize that peace is where we came from, who we are, and where we want to spend our entire existence here on earth.

There are many steps to take in order to create inner peace.  Each step is easy and very rewarding if done on a regular basis.  There are nine steps in all.  Breathe, Relax, Be Fully Present, Let Nature Nourish You, Commit To A Personal Peace Process, Practice The Arts Of Inner Peace, Listen To The Inner Voice, Live On Purpose, Broadcast From The Peace Frequency.  These steps are discussed beautifully in The Peace Book by Louis Diamond.  After reading the book I felt it necessary to discuss these steps to inner peace here in this blog.  Breathing is the first step to quieting the mind and body in order to create inner peace.

BREATHE

Our lives are filled with fast paced stress.  With all of the wonderful technologies that are supposed to make our lives easier they seem to actually allow us to cram more into a day.  Having to navigate so many electronic gadgets and making sure each is giving or receiving the massive interchange of information can be extremely stressful.  Not to mention all of the meetings and making each person, directly connected to you whether it is family, friends or coworkers, happy is a very daunting task.  When do we have time to breathe?  We must make time if we are to tap into that extra energy that is peace for peace will allow us to stay in control and this is our ultimate goal.

When we bring our attention to our breathing we enact a mechanism that allows the body to slowly breathe.  This is beneficial for bringing in large amounts of air and allowing the air to stay in the lungs for a few seconds.  The good air can then sufficiently be exchanged with the toxic waste that the body has created during metabolism.  Removing these toxins from the body creates a less stressed body system and therefore allows you to come in contact with your true inner peace.

This exercise is very easy to do and can be done virtually anywhere.  When you feel stressed and out of control take a moment alone in a comfortable seated position.  Close your eyes and just focus on your breath.  Slowly breathe in and hold for a few seconds then slowly breathe out and hold for a few seconds.  Try to keep your mind on the breath and when your mind wanders to the issue that brought created the stress gently refocus the mind on the life giving breath.  By doing this on a regular basis you will be able to cope very easily with many situations that you might normally get very stressed about.  You will likely be able to think of an alternative outcome to the issue that you are faced with.

More Accepting Of Others

Imagine the possibilities of implementing this one process.  Not only will you reap less stress and get closer to inner peace but you will also bring forth life giving oxygen to your body.  A body with more oxygen stays healthier and happier which creates outward happiness for those individuals around you.  This outward change of demeanor will promote others to change their attitude toward you and become more pleasant around you.  Many times it is not the other persons actions, it is how we interpret the other persons actions, that create the friction in a relationship.  By allowing your true inner peace to shine you will be more accepting of others.
