YOUR CARE IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE
Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 07:38AM
Before you do your taxes you might want to know this great piece of information. If you have seen a health care practitioner in 2013 and paid for the care out of pocket you can deduct this from your taxes. If you bought supplements from that practitioner those supplements can be deducted as well. Cindy is currently preparing each patients list of visits and supplements and she will be happy to give you a copy at your next visit. If you haven't been to the clinic in a while all you have to do is give Cindy a call and she will mail or fax you the information. If your tax person is not familiar with this federal law ask them to research under IRS Code Section 213D. Also don't forget that if you have an HSA you can use that for any and all health care including prescribed supplements.
