ADD and ADHD Helped By Acupuncture

Since I've moved back home to Preston, IA many people are seeking me out and traveling from miles around.  I'm reminded at how powerful acupuncture is in helping individuals who suffer from ADD and ADHD.  When I was in Orlando I had a few ADHD clients and had absolutely stellar results with acupuncture.

Recently a young boy of 10 started in my office.  He was having trouble concentrating, he was disruptive in class and very fidgety.  During our initial consultation I could see by how he needed to open all of the cabinets to see what was inside, touch the water in the fountain and could not sit still for more than...well he couldn't sit still at all.  Major neurological over stimulation going on with this young boy.  Although this young boy suffers from ADHD he is still a very intelligent individual.  He was able to answer all of my questions easily but always had to be moving.

This young man came into my office after he and his mother took advantage of my Hump Day Happy Hour.  He let me know that he didn't like needles in his ears as there are two points in the ears that I use in the mini stress relief treatment so I decided to use an acupoint on each arm and two on top of his head.  Very powerful points in their own right.  During the initial consultation the young boy's mother let me know that after he had experienced the Hump Day Happy Hour mini stress relief treatment his demeanor changed significantly.  The next day he was pleasant, calm and very focused.  She further informed me that he had slept at least 11 hours which had never happened.  He had gotten a few treatments from another acupuncturist in the Quad Cities but never had the dramatic results she witnessed in one treatment.
